1to1 Rehab is a nationally accredited service provider with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Dietitians and Rehab Assistants providing therapy services in the community, homes, hospitals, long-term care homes, public and private schools in the Greater Toronto area.

1to1 Rehab’s services are provided through Home and Community Care Support Services, Ministry of Health and the Children’s Treatment Network School Based Rehabilitation Services, and Preschool Speech and Language Services, Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. 1to1 Rehab partners with community services for interdisciplinary care, family and caregiver support.

1to1 Rehab founded in 1999 celebrates excellence providing therapy services, and a stellar reputation as a community rehabilitation service provider.

1to1 Rehab’s team includes over 200 personnel including Speech Language Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Dietitians as well as Physical and Occupational Therapy Assistants and Communication Disorders Assistants. Our diverse workforce is responsive to community familial, linguistic, ethnic, cultural and spiritual and social differences, with over 30 languages represented.

1to1 Rehab’s team provides a full range of medical rehabilitation services for infants, children, adults and seniors.

Our Story

1to1 Rehab is a Canadian family-owned business founded by Stephanie Hayes in 1999. Originally, 1to1 was named 1to1 Communication Therapy, with a focus on Speech Language Pathology. In 2006, 1to1 was re-named to 1to1 Rehab to reflect the broader range of offered services.

Stephanie Hayes

Founder, Speech-Language Pathologist and Chief Executive Officer, Stephanie Hayes, has over 40 years’ experience providing therapy services. She is a fierce advocate for people with exceptionalities and mentorship of clinical skills.

Jay Turner

Jay Turner, Chief Operations Officer, has been directing daily operations and leading business strategies at 1to1 since 2010. Notably, he continues to be the lead on all government contracts and main representative at industry tables.

Alison Turner

Alison Turner is 1to1’s Chief Clinical Officer. She is a second-generation Speech-Language Pathologist. Starting at 1to1 in 2011, she has championed countless initiatives and programming to support children.

Accreditation

We are pleased to announce that 1to1 has been Accredited in Medical Rehabilitation, Home and Community Services for Adults, Adolescents and Children. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)International has certified that 1to1has met annual performance requirements and quality standards, giving the highest award for a 3-year accreditation. 1to1 has been accredited at the highest levels since 2002.

1to1 Rehab has been a proud member of the Home Care Ontario Association since 2010. Home Care Ontario, The Voice of Home Care in Ontario™, is a member-based organization with a mandate to promote growth and development of the home care sector through advocacy, knowledge transfer, and member service.

In 2019, 1to1 Rehab received an award from Home Care Ontario for Frontline Worker of the Year Award, Staffing Coordinator.
